St Pauls Carnival is an annual African Caribbean carnival, which
attracts up to 60,000 attendees and takes place annually in the first
Saturday in July. Highlights include a procession, live music, a childrens
creative area and a range of stalls. The Carnival also runs a supporting
programme of workshops and events leading up to the day including mas
camps with local schools. The Carnival has been running for 41 years in
the St Pauls district of Bristol and it is well respected
within the artistic community, both nationally and internationally.
We are now inviting suitably experienced companies to tender for the
event management of St Pauls carnival on 4th July 2009.
The contract for the event will be for 1 year, with the option of a two-year
extension. Tenders will be invited on the basis of a fixed fee.
Organisations wishing to tender for the event management contract should
send written confirmation containing the following information on a maximum
of two sides of A4:
Your organisation name and trading status
Full contact details including, name, title, address, telephone number(s),
email address
Listing of relevant professional qualifications/membership of professional
bodies
Summary of relevant experience for this contract, especially with working
with the local community
Any other information that you think is relevant
Please also include a copy of your organisations equality/diversity
policies
